Hold on though: being young and being a rookie aren’t the same thing. I was handling real-world accounting at 16, and today every single file I touch operates under strict standard operating procedures and direct CPA mentorship.
The CRA keeps pushing deeper into digital compliance every year, leaving old-school paper bookkeepers struggling to learn cloud software from scratch. I grew up on computers and committed to accounting back in high school—software automation and modern tech integrations are my native language. Clean workflows, proper job costing, modern tools: I built a system, not a shoebox.
